On September 23, the inaugural Chicago Youth Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and IT Bootcamp will take place from 10AM to 1PM at Rush University. This event by C3EN Minigrant and Pilot Awardee Chuka Emezue aims to encourage job and college readiness, positive future outlook, awareness of healthcare careers (especially nursing), and tech/small business among young males of color between 15 and 24 years old from Chicago and the surrounding areas, including those who have been involved in violence and other risky behaviors.
