On April 21, 2024, Community Stakeholder Advisory Council member Ayesha Jaco, executive director of West Side United, penned an article in the Chicago Sun-Times introducing West Side Healthy Parents and Babies. This program, developed by West Side United and Lurie Children’s Hospital, will support families living on the west side of Chicago from pregnancy to one year postpartum by connecting them to resources and helping them navigate the health care system.
